We hope everyone had a lovely Memorial Day weekend and a nice, well deserved introduction to summer living. Summer is indeed upon us and with it comes the appreciation of coastal summer homes (whether you can afford them or not). If you live out on eastern Long Island, you may have caught a glimpse of some more modern takes on the traditional “beach house”. These homes would have likely been designed by renowned architecture firm, Bates + Masi. Their work ranges from some baller beach mansions to more simple, small & efficient, modern cabins. Beautiful stuff.
A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
