Surfboards & beer – is there a better combo in the world? The good folks at Grain Surfboards have teamed up with our buddies at Topa Topa Brewing Co. for a mobile board building class at their brewery / tasting room in Ventura. It is a four-day version of their full board-building class for those with limited time. The pace is fast, and they’ll have the starting steps completed before you get there to make sure there’s time to finish. They’ll also teach you a few extra techniques for building these in quick-time. Breakfast and lunch is included in the package (plus a few pints a day!). With the brewery located just steps from C street, there is sure to be some shredding going on as well. Sign us up! Details below:

A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
