An awesome new Nike commercial that pushes action sports even further into mainstream culture with it’s massive national media buy. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a Nike commercial glorifying surf/skate/snow during the Daily Show! All the Nike athletes having epic night sessions, good stuff. It’s great to see a non-cheesy surf ad out there. The night surf scenes are sic, they’re shot in Indo and Typhoon Lagoon with lots of spotlights. The best part for me is that it is actually part of an integrated campaign to find the next great action sports crew vid. Great job 72andSunny! Check out the site with the contest and making of here:
A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
