Michael Fordham, author of the The Book of Surfing: The Killer Guide, travels from San Francisco to Los Angeles in search of the heart of American surf culture. Michael visits famous surf spots and meets Mollusk shop owner John Cambridge, board-shaper Michel Junod, Malibu Bros Trace and Chad Marshall, surfing photographer Jeff Divine and longboarder Joel Tudor. And discovers how surf culture has evolved from a man on a wave to a billion-dollar industry.

Matt Titone

A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
