Canon has announced their new Cinema EOS C500 / C500 PL and EOS-1D C 4K Digital Cinema cameras. The C500 features 4K-resolution video, 10-bit uncompressed RAW data stream with no de-Bayering, variable frame rates (up to 120fps at 4:2:2) and a PL mount version to accept proper cinema lenses. The EOS-1D C digital SLR camera features 4K-resolution video, 18-megapixel CMOS sensor and increased ISO sensitivity up to 25600. The EOS-1D C is listed to retail at $15,000 and the C500 Digital Cinema Camera you’ll be able to grab for just a cool $30,000.
