Unable to find the level of detail he desired in a conventional large format camera, fine art photographer Clifford Ross turned to building his own. Using custom machined parts and ground glass and the highest resolution color negative ever made, Ross is able to achieve levels of detail that attracted the attention of NASA and NSA scientists. A New Englander through and through, Drew grew up in Connecticut / New Hampshire and got over educated in Boston. He also lived on a beach in Southern California for some years.
