COLOR by Tom Sachs

Tom Sachs Studio is a very orderly workshop that produces the art of Tom Sachs. There are many rules and maxims to follow including, but not limited to, knolling – one should always be knolling. But knolling is another film (see “10 Bullets”). In this film we learn about the very acute color palette of Tom Sachs Studio. If you like anything about color theory or Tom Sachs, you’ll enjoy this video. If you don’t, it’s still entertaining if you like things with personality. I’d like to add one of those custom wood Pelican cases to my collection.

Drew Innis

A New Englander through and through, Drew grew up in Connecticut / New Hampshire and got over educated in Boston. He also lived on a beach in Southern California for some years. Film, photography, music and literature monopolize his time these days. Drew lives in Brooklyn, NY, eats too many cheeseburgers at the Commodore and hopes to carry on simply one day on a big piece of land by the sea without the computer or YouTube.
