Coming Up For Air

These days surfing is no longer all about sunny, tropical, perfect aqua blue barrels on islands with coconuts and colorful fish everywhere (although that does sound pretty dreamy right now). There is a darker, moodier side to surfing that we see more and more of nowadays. Surfers are finding their own private remote destinations in harsher environments with colder temperatures, where most most surfers would consider undesirable locations. European cold water surf brand, Finisterre has always known this, and they celebrate it in this latest film directed by Mickey Smith featuring one of their ambassador’s, Matt Smith.
