Never before in the history of corporate brand identity has there been such an overwhelming backlash against a new logo. It just goes to show, first, the power of the interwebs for expressing public opinion, and second, the power of brand identity – Gap has had a great logo since their beginning, why mess it up? Luckily, there are designers like Scott Hansen out there, who took it upon himself to showcase hundreds of user submitted Gap logo redesigns on his popular design blog. Check them all out here:
A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director.
