We thought we’d have hover boards by now, instead we have the new Jet Surf boards. This thing features one of the most ecological engines in the world, that can make it up to 60 kmh thanks to an innovative technology designed by Formula 1 engineer Martin Sula. My first reaction to this is “Holy crap, I wunt dat.” But then reality sets in and I realize this is the evil love child of the stand-up-paddle board and a jet ski. Can you imagine an already crowded lineup swarming with these loud buzzing abominations? Do I sound old? Is this the motorcross-infused future of our beloved, soulful sport? I sure hope not.
A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
