Marc Jacobs has been working with the Savannah Skate Park initiative to help raise funds for a much-needed new skate park in Savannah. First, he released a limited batch of tees, now, this collection of sexy skate decks featuring old ad photos by Juergen Teller. They include Lisa Maria from spring 2000, Kate Moss from fall 2000, Stephanie Seymour from fall 2001 and M.I.A. from spring 2009. The decks are limited to 100 pieces each and will go for $69.
This project means a lot to me, having went to school at the Savannah College of Art and Design and learning to skate while I lived there. I started going to SCAD when the school seemed to first be truly affecting the city of Savannah, but now it seems that the city is truly forever changed by the school and it’s artistic influence. Please look for these limited tees and decks to support this awesome initiative.
A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
