Kelly Slater has been working several years with some of the best minds in industrial engineering, hydrodynamics, mechanical systems and academia to create a world class wave in a man-made pool. The proposed design, an endless circular wave, can accommodate a variety of wave forms and heights. There’s no word on when and where the pool(s) will become a reality, but it appears from the company’s new site the search for financing is underway.
