LL Bean Signature Series Boot

Tim Barber

It’s officially winter here in the Northeast and so far it’s looking pretty mean and messy. LL Bean has given its classic American staple, the duck boot, a modern reinterpretation just in the nick of time for us bootless New Englanders. Part of LL Bean’s new Signature Series, the boot pairs LL Bean’s waterproof boot bottom with a Chromexcel full-grain leather upper and triple-stitching…so not only do they look pretty nice, they’re just as warm and durable as the pair your dad has always kept in his closet. And of course they’re still handmade in beautiful Maine.

Drew Innis

A New Englander through and through, Drew grew up in Connecticut / New Hampshire and got over educated in Boston. He also lived on a beach in Southern California for some years. Film, photography, music and literature monopolize his time these days. Drew lives in Brooklyn, NY, eats too many cheeseburgers at the Commodore and hopes to carry on simply one day on a big piece of land by the sea without the computer or YouTube.
