For years the allure of Iceland has laid in the back of my mind. Here is yet another excuse to get out there and have some lonely nature time. Norður: Almost Arctic began as a surf trip to a remote region of the West Fjords of Iceland, but quickly became a way to experience the regions history, landscape and understand how a long held set of values and traditions will adjust to fit into a modern world.
