Recently my amigo, artist Ty Williams, returned to LA after spending time out east with his family to find his car had been stolen along with a lot of his life’s possessions including surf gear, art supplies and camera gear. When times are lean and something like this happens it can really set somebody back. Ty did not have theft insurance and without a car in LA you’re pretty dead in the water.
