For the 2012/2013 season on Oahu’s North Shore, Surfline held a contest where the single-best wave of the season would be awarded $25K. Here’s the collection of every crazy wave that was ridden from November through February with added commentary from locals, judges and contenders.

A New Englander through and through, Drew grew up in Connecticut / New Hampshire and got over educated in Boston. He also lived on a beach in Southern California for some years. Film, photography, music and literature monopolize his time these days.
