When I first started surfing, Chris Malloy was my favorite surfer, then it was Kieth, later it was Dan. It wasn’t just their style I was drawn to, but their sense of adventure, their low key attitude, humble-ness, DIY attitude – they just seemed like true badass waterman. Almost 20 years later, this video epitomizes everything I admire about these guys. Following in the footsteps of their father, the Malloy brothers have been blazing trails off the beaten path since before they knew how to stand up on a surfboard. Their love of adventure has brought them to remote beaches all over the globe, earned them spots at the top of the competitive surfing world, and fueled their endless exploration. A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
