The Story Of Waste To Waves

A while ago we posted about a great new program called “Waste to Waves” that recycles your scrap styrofoam packaging and boxes and uses them for surfboard blanks. Finally a company is both finding a way to recycle styrofoam and helping to make the surfboard industry greener. In this video from The Wuss, we get a more intimate and artful look into the company’s process and philosophy. Drop off your foam at your local participating surf shop.

Matt Titone

A goofy-footed graphic designer who hails from the first state, Delaware. After attending Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL then graduating from SCAD in Savannah, GA with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Matt moved to NYC and found work as a freelance designer and art director. In 2006 he moved west to Venice, CA where he co-founded ITAL/C Studio and now resides a bit further north in Oxnard.
