I’m a little late on doing a post about this, but better late than never I suppose. Venice Beach in particular has been plastered with these billboards and wildpostings with an iconic image of the late Dennis Hopper and the line, “Hopper Lives”. Which is appropriate, as Hopper was an OG Venice resident who was part of the artist movement that made the gritty seaside town cool in the first place, leading to the hipster invasion we know it as now. The campaign is for Van’s new limited edition Fall line of clothes featuring Hopper art that will be sold exclusively at Urban Outfitters.
