Waiting For Lightning

This docu-style film features the heroic professional skateboarding career of Danny Way and his rise to skate icon from a broken home in Vista, California. Described as a film about how much abuse the body can sustain, how deep you have to dig to survive the betrayals of family, and how high and far dreams can fly. Like big wave riders, Danny attempts the biggest, most epic feats in skateboarding that remind us just how small and fragile we all really are, but how strong and fearless he is. Waiting for Lighting will debut at SXSW 2012 in Austin, Texas, which runs from March 9 to March 17.
