Waste To Waves

Waves To Waste is a surf focused recycling program from Sustainable Surf, that seeks to turn waste into sustainable surf gear. Their first effort shown here is to make “greener” surfboards. You, the consumer can help by dropping off all your unwanted “styrofoam” packaging material waste at your local CA surf shop, which then gets incorporated into a new recycled “eco-friendlier” surfboard blank. Watch the cheesy video to see how they do it and go to the site to find your nearest drop off location and get involved.
