Our first group show and opening event celebrates the work of 26 local artists from the 805 area (Santa Barbara, Ventura, Ojai, Oxnard, etc.). It will be on view in the gallery from January 27th — February 25th 2023. Why Ventura County? It’s no secret this region is rich in natural resources catering to the outdoor enthusiast. From the trails and mountain foothills, to the groomed point breaks, vineyards, farmland, and clean waters, this region represents the classic California lifestyle. Ventura County in particular is home to a hard-working, tight knit community of creative talent. These artists are recognized internationally and are quietly established as local heroes. We want to celebrate and inspire this community with our new space, while also creating a destination for people coming from out of town, giving Ventura a new cultural landmark to be proud of.

Opening night was a massive success. Xocoyotyn Moraza serenaded the crowd with his trance-like harp melodies. All the alcohol was gone within the first hour. There was a line of people down the block stopping traffic on the Avenue just to get inside. Ventura was clearly thirsty for something like this.
