On Saturday, May 3, we brought the “Sea-To-Table” experience to life in Ventura. Indoek hosted a one-day takeover with Rivian, 7TILL8, and Rosalynn Supper Club.

For 7TILL8, diving is about connection—to nature, to adventure, and to craft—and this event was our way of sharing that feeling in real life.

The journey began with a dive off the Channel Islands and ended with a shared table inside the gallery.

The catch: fresh urchin and California sheephead, harvested the day before by Connor Rhoades and Brook Basse. Then Jasper Lynn and Rossalynn Supper Club transformed the catch into a fine dining tasting menu cooked on the Rivian Travel Kitchen in front of Indoek gallery.

Outside, test drives in Rivian vehicles gave a hands-on taste of outdoor exploration. While inside, guests were custom-measured for 7Till8 wetsuits and welcomed the brand’s Ventura debut. 

Indoek’s “Wavelengths” show by Ned Evans and Jacob Ells anchored the experience in contemporary California art inspired by the artists’ relationships to the sea.

Sips by Stel And Mar, Topa Topa, and Optimist kept spirits high through the evening.
